This 4 bedroom 2 bath house with private hot tub and private swimming pool is nestled on 5 wooded acres with 430 ft of lakeshore on a 150 acre environmental lake. The lake is home to many varieties of birds that nest and raise their young on it. It takes about an hour to paddle around by canoe, kayak, or paddle board. You can listen to the frogs and crickets sing you a lullaby and the birds singing for you in the morning. Choose to have your coffee on the deck or poolside. This is a very wonderful, very special cottage that has been around for a long time - 100 years old with lots of character. If the walls could talk I am sure they would have stories to tell. We had renovated this cottage about 14 years ago. It has a wonderful east coat ambiance with a stone exterior. The cottage has 2 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with queen bed and the other has 2 built in bunk beds with their own reading lights(sleeps 4). The screen porch is a favorite room with our guests. The views are beautiful with the cottage facing west with amazing sunsets. It has an open floor plan with a kitchen island and an cozy eating nook. Clearwater lake is large (3000 acres) with a restaurant and bait shop with boat rental located on it. We have a very nice swimming area with hard sand bottom. Great fishing lake! The cottage is close to the Metro are - less then an hour away. The nearest town is Annandale - wonderful with its quaint shops and excellent restaurants - Café Jules is my favorite! Beautiful cottage on Clearwater lake! From breathtaking sunsets to crystal clear water, this cottage will not disappoint. This cottage has been renovated with a beautiful east coast ambiance with a stone exterior. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other bedroom has two adorable built in bunk beds each with their own reading lights (sleeps four). The screened in porch has brand new furniture and lights and is a guest favorite, with the west facing views the cottage has amazing sunsets. If not relaxing on the porch, try relaxing on one of the several decks on the property, each offering fabulous lake views. We recently added an outdoor fire table on the lake facing deck to create many memories while enjoying smores around the fire. The cottage has an open floor plan with a granite center island to gather around. Clearwater lake is large (3,000 acres) with a restaurant and bait shop on it. Our swimming area is very nice with clean, clear water with a hard sandy bottom. Also a great fishing lake! The cottage is close to the metro, only about an hour away. The nearest town is Annandale, which is wonderful with its quaint shops and excellent restaurants. There is also a brewery and winery near by! The cottage has Satellite TV, air conditioning, a charcoal grill and fire table for your evening smores and story telling time. All sheets and bath and kitchen linens supplied. There is a dock, boat lift, paddle boat and canoe for you to use. We also have a luxury 115hp Bennington pontoon with premium features available for rent.

Great location on Sugar Lake in Wright County MN. Two story Lake home with over 300 feet of natural lakeshore. Includes large deck area, swimming pool, fire pit with log swing and two docks on the lake. Great fishing for Blue Gill, Crappie's, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Muskelenge and walleyes. Many can be caught right from the dock. Pontoon Boat ready to go available for rent. Space to dock your own boat included at no extra charge. The caretakers live in the Guest House. The guest house is about 100 feet from the main home. Water levels on Sugar Lake do not vary that much. Sugar Lake has two natural water supplies feeding it, and there is an outlet on the north end of the lake flowing out to the Crow River. The outlet has a dam thet keeps the lake level very consistant. The Normal High Water Level is 988.1ft and the current DNR water report says we are at 987.11ft. So we are 2 inches below the normal high water level. It is raining as I am typing this, and it is supposed to rain all this next week. I am sure the water level will be normal this season. We have been on Sugar Lake for 11 years, and there has never been any problems with the water level being too low as to cause any issues. As fas as fishing goes, Sugar Lake is very good and if you want Largemouth Bass, you can easily catch your limit everyday. This is also the only lake in the area with Muskies. The 2012 DNR report shows that the adult Muskie population is very strong. It also shows a continuously improving Waleye population. We don't fish for waleyes much in the summer, but do catch them through the ice. As for the fishing, there are a lot of reeds around the south end of the lake and around our area. We have a lot of fun catching Bass with Topwater baits in these area's. There are also large cabbage weed beds that provide excellent Bass fishing especially if the shallow area's aren't producing. There are a number of sunken islands, underwater points and other fishing structure. We used to own a home on Clearwater, the lake level can get very low and the water is green. We had a lot of summers that we could barely get in our out from our dock. That is why we bought this home instead. Sugar Lake is very clear and has clean water. We can catch Bass and Sunfish right from the dock most of the time. Our home is pocated very close to about six other lakes, including Clearwater. If the fishing is poor, it is only 10 to 15 minutes to go to a different lake. Don't forget to drain live wells and remove all weeds before transporting your boat. So much to do in the Wright County area: -Wright County Swappers meet is open every Saturday from April to October. Memorial weekend, 4th of July weekend and Labor day weekend, it is open Friday and saturday. -Buffalo occasional sales are the 1st weekend of every month with over 15 antique, collectable, thrift shops open. Lots of great lunch stops along the way. -5 golf courses within 20 miles -Annandale 4th of July is a weeklong celebration with parade, carnival, street dances. -Clearwater Rodeo-August 14, 15,+16 with rodeo dance following the rodeo. -Wright County Fair July 29-August 2nd. We have a beach/swimming area right on our property for you to enjoy. A pontoon is available for rent and we have a dock if you'd like to bring your own boat as well. We have water toys, sand toys, a canoe, paddle boards and more for you to enjoy outdoors. Be sure to get your s'more fix in at night around the fire while you listen to the night sounds of the lake. In the fall, you must get out and enjoy the colors! Take a hike, grab your camera for photos of the trees around the lake, build leaf piles in the yard. There are a few apple orchards nearby that offer both kids and adult activities. Grab some apples and head back to the cabin to bake a homemade pie and sip on a fresh jug of local apple cider. In the wintertime our cabin includes ice skates in numerous sizes (we can't guarantee we have your size), sleds, a pair of cross country skis and snow toys. Want to try your hand at ice fishing? We have an icehouse* located on the lake within walking distance from our cabins front door with pre-drilled holes, a heater and fishing equipment. Want to stay inside and relax during your stay? No problem. We have 6 smartTV's with wifi to catch up on show-binging, a jetted tub to soak in for hours, a fireplace with reading options from baby to grandma and warm & plush throws with plenty of mugs to fill with hot chocolate or coffee. *Icehouse is seasonal and is only on the lake during safe ice levels.

The third cabin is another cozy (seasonal) 1930's built stand alone "Guest Cabin" that has 1 bedroom with window air conditioner (1 queen bed), kitchen and 3/4 bath. The entire complex will sleep 12-15 people. This property is located on the sandy "Gold Coast" of Clearwater Lake. Sip your morning coffee while overlooking the water or drink your favorite beverage while enjoying the stunning sunset. There are 2 bedrooms. The first includes a queen bed and the second includes a full bed. There is also a twin daybed with a trundle pull out bed. There is 1 bathroom that has a tub/shower combo. Sleeps 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots/pans, and a coffee pot. The water is from a well, however we have installed a RO filter for cooking and drinking. The dining room faces the lake and seats 6. There is also a table and chairs in the seasonal porch to play games or hang out. The laundry room has a washer and dryer and plenty of storage space and hooks for your things. There is a patio overlooking the lake that has a seating area and fire table and picnic table.
